August 2001 – present:  Public Services Supervisor, BYU Music and Dance Library. Responsible for budgets (materials, supplies, student wages); scheduling; acquisitions; public relations; liaison for Primrose International Viola Archive.

 

October 2000 – August 2002:  Assistant Librarian, Orem Public Library, Orem Utah. Responsible for reference and reader’s advisory, adult department.  Part time.

 

August 2000 – April 2002:  Adjunct Faculty Member, Humanities Department, UVSC.Responsible for planning, presenting and grading students in Humanities 1010, Intro. to the Humanities

 

June 1995 – July 2000:  Media Center Manager, Foothills School Division No. 38, High River, Alberta, Canada.  Responsible for budget and acquisition of shared resources for K-12 schools.  Cataloguing, circulation, collection development and promotion of audio-visual materials, novels and equipment.  Design and distribution of print catalogue.  Chairperson of Materials Selection Committee.  Member ESL committee.  Reference resource for school librarians.

 

March 1995 – May 2000:  Assistant Librarian, Calgary Public Library, Calgary, Alberta. Reference and reader’s advisory to all ages in a multi-ethnic community.  Part time.

 

Sept. 1990 – Dec. 1994:  Assistant Librarian, Fraser Valley Regional Library System, Abbotsford, BC, Canada.  Reference, reader’s advisory, area assistant over 5 library branches.

 

Sept. 1985 – March 1987:  Teaching Assistant, Special Education Department, Raymond High School, Raymond, Alberta, Canada.  Taught math, social studies, science and life skills.
